I’m using PhotoShop version 6, however everyone in my office is using version 5.

Could we have any conflicts when sharing files?

I think you could have some problems if you’re not careful. Basically the main problem would be if you save your images as version 6 images, you won’t be able to open them at the office. However, if you create something at the office, you will be able to open it at home. Make sure that you save the file as a version 5 file when working from home. This way you will be able to edit from the office. There may be other issues, such as different tools and stuff but I’m not savvy enough to elaborate on these. I do know that if you save as a version 5 image, you shouldn’t have any problems….it’s a backward compatibility thing.

Hope this helps

I don’t believe 5 had editable type. It certainly didn’t have vector type so type will get rasterized. Also 5 didn’t have Shape Layers or Layer Styles.
