Ok, so I click on Photoshop 7…

then the window will come up, but just the Photoshop window with grey background…

now usually the little mini window thing will be there with Photoshop eyeball picture and all the plugins loading…

but all I have is one window…
nothing i can tell is loading… tried the ctrl+alt+shft… deleted the preferences file "C:/Documents and Settings/Alex Egg/Application Data/Adobe/Photoshop" I tried system restore… even though I think that’s what wrecked it…

it was all working fine before…
although I just installed the DirectX SDK, and the runtimeB… hmm, maybe the B means "BETA"… uh…

here’s my system… it’s more then enough…

P4 2.4
512 DDRg
Win XP SP1

Any suggestions?
And the same thing with Illustartor, Premiere and other adobe aps except Acrobat, it’s doing the same thing….

Well, I would’ve suggested deleting the preferences; not everyone can do it successfully the first time. Are you SURE you deleted them? Did you get a dialog box asking about your preferences?
