I am trying to find a way to move the Photoshop CS File Browser thumbnail files form my C: drive to my F: drive. And change Photoshop’s preferences so that Filebrowser always uses the new location to create and store the thumbnail files.

I am using Windows XP Pro and Photoshop CS. The current location of the File Browser thumbnail files is:
C:\Documents and Settings\OurAccount\Application Data\Adobe\FileBrowser\PhotoshopCS

Thank you. – Tom Bullard

Can’t be done, Tom, I’m afraid.

In CS2 you can use a distributed cache where the cache files are saved in the same folder as the images, but in CS it will always be saved to your documents and settings folder.
