When creating JPEGs from large PSD files, we occasionally get an error message when attempting to open the created JPEG file

Could not open <filename> because and unknown or invalid JPEG marker type is found.

Does anyone know what causes this error and how we can work around it?

We have run into this problem with Photoshop 7.0.1 and CS1

obviously you know that something i the file is corrupt. what’s causing it? dunno. something on your system. are you saving to a network drive that might be dropping packets? are you saving to a hard drive that might be going bad? an external with a flaky connections? could be any number of things.
