Unable to use Scott Kelby CS2 photos

I just got "PhotoshopCS2 fo Digital Photographers," book by Scott Kelby. Their website provides free JPG photos for the tutorials. I downloaded them but they will not unzip. I am on a WinXP box. Thanks.

what does it say when you try to unzip them?

and what program are you using to unzip them?

What kind of unzipper are you using? Also, the zips You downloaded may be corrupted.

I’ve got this book on subscription on Safari and there is nothing wrong with the zip files. Just treat the download folder like a normal windows folder. Dig into it until you find the images and then drag them out into a new folder.

I use WinZip. Error message in IrfanView says Unknown file-format.

I’ll try the dragging to another folder.

oops…just had a breakthrough…by opening them in PowerDesk they work.
