I had been running CS2 for some time and never had a problem until last night. I got the following error message:

(An Error has been detected with a required application library and the product cannot continue.

Please reinstall the application.)

I have tried every thing and cannot seem to isolate the problem at all.

I have created a new user account, and ran the activation for that user and the darn thing works fine for that user. Any ideas how I can resolve this with my original account?

Thanks in advance

Len,

Thanks for the information but I already have done that. I found out that there were some *.TMP files for the user in (documents and settings). I went in the user account again, and checked around and found in the local settings there was a temp folder with a bunch of *tmp files in there and deleted them from the folder. Launched CS2 again expecting the error to show up, and this time it worked fine.

Thanks for your help just the same. Atleast I know if this happens again.
