Hi, I am using Adobe Photoshop 7.0 and am trying to simulate a textural effect of "inflated vinyl ", like what a beachball is made of. There are certain indendations in the vinyl which are difficult to duplicate and I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions or ideas on how to create this "inflated vinyl " effect. Hope someone can help. Thankyou

One…replace your operating system you are just asking for trouble with ME

One way to do this is with the texturizer filter. Scan a piece of your vinyl, greyscale, blur, and save the texture as a .psd file. Move the vinyl.psd file to Program Files>Adobe>Photoshop 7> Presets>Textures

Open the image you want to texturize, go to Filter>Texture>Texturizer and load in your vinyl.psd by clicking on the load button in the Texturizer dialog box.
