Lately there have been instances in Photoshop CS2 which have displayed a strange situation in a dialog box. This occurs in Photoshop CS2, in the window which comes up when opening RAW files.

There are several checkboxes, with text to the right, where there are 2 lines of text for each checkbox. But the text is partially hidden/clipped. With two lines for the checkbox, the upper half of the top line, and the lower half of the bottom line are clipped off. The clipping edge lines up with the check box top and bottom.

I’m running a SONY GDM-FW900 24" CRT monitor in Windows XP – with all the latest patches and updates. I have not changed my video display settings – I’m running at 1600 x 1024, which is the correct aspect ratio for this screen.

The present problem was never seen until very recently in the new Photoshop CS2. My font size is set to noraml in the screen settings.

The video card is a 128 MB nvidia GeForce4 TI4600 card. Yesterday I downloaded the latest driver, and updated my system, but that made no difference.

Has anyone else experienced this situation?

I now see that all windows and dialog boxes which have 2 lines of text for check boxes have this problem.

It makes it very difficult to read the text (if at all) in these cases.
