hello:

I have created (drawn)an outer circle, and an inner circle, on separate layers. How do I fill just the area between each of the circles (i.e., from the circumference of the outer circle, to the circumference of the inner circle, but not inside the inner circle) ?

Thanks for any help.

Merge both layers, then fill between them

Make sure you fill each circle with a colour first. Select the smaller layer circle and select the coloured pixels therein. The seelction fronm Layer 2 will (should) "float" With it floating, click back to select Layer 1 and hit delete. You can then delete Layer 2 and be left with the fill you want with only one layer. You can actually do it on one layer using the Select>Modify>Contract options, and deleting the inner pixels.

Something like that…. no masks required I think (hope)
