For those of you in the US midwest,

Great Lakes Digital presents Photoshop Soup2Nuts <http://greatlakesdigital.org> 2.0; a professional, internationally known Photoshop Conference located in the Great Lakes region of the United States.

Hosted by Washtenaw Community College outside of Ann Arbor, Michigan, GLD attracts world renowned photographers to give presentations and talk about the current state of digital photography. Participants in GLD have a rare opportunity to hear about and discuss the latest features of Photoshop with Thomas Knoll, original author of Photoshop.

The conference consists of presentations, panel discussions and hands-on workshops with the best of the best for the novice, professional or serious amateur.

GLD has also announced an "A la Carte Registration <http://www.greatlakesdigital.org/alacarte.html>" for people who can only attend one of the two days of the conference.

Proceeds from this event will benefit educational scholarships at Washtenaw Community College and Summers-Knoll School.
