Having just upgraded to CS2, I haven’t realized the installer automatically added Adobe Gamma to my startup group, thus messing up my color management settings (I use a 3rd party calibration tool).
After much frustration and several wasted sheets of expensive paper I finally realized what the problem was and removed it.
How hard would it be to make the installation of Adobe Gamma optional and explicitly selectable during the installation process?

Annoying isn’t it? A better option would be to always
install the control panel applet but make the startup option one of the things you can enable/disable in the control panel. It’s very sloppy installation the way it stands.

You don’t need to use Adobe Gamma. If you find Adobe Gamma Loader in your startup, disable it.
