CS2 slow to load, about double of PS7. Though, have fixed the the (screen) "panel" writes on open – they were choppy. Using an old 3Dlabs card with 4MB onboard. Running XP SP1. Changed the Hardware Accel to "one notch" below FULL. Also "unchecked" Enable Write Combining. This combo has provided smoother screen writes when CS2 opens.
