ERROR "Cold not save the Adobe ImageReady document."

I edited a PSD in IR 8.0 and get the message "Cold not save the Adobe ImageReady document. An unknown error has occurred." Cannot open in PS or anything. I tried to Duplicate the image and cannot save that either.
