Hello!

I use Photoshop (on Windows XP) to edit scanned pictures, make corrections, etc… What I want to know is how helpful could a tablet be for this purpose? Does the size of the tablet matters a lot? Because of tight budget and aviability of products here, I have isolated the Genius NewSketch 1212 HR III and Aiptek Hyperpen 12000U. Does someone know something about them? Are there any links?

Thanks,
Igor C.

Depends? Most pro Photoshop users use pen tablets, like Wacom range. It’s almost an essential for using the product quickly and effectively.

I have the small 4×5 tablet. I do not know how I ever used the mouse for delicate retouching. I think you can get refurbished tablets from the various manufacturers. Get one even if it a small one.
Yours,
Tom
