Grouping Pallets

I am using PS CS2 and accidentally took the History pallet out of the same group as Levels. At first I figured NO problem, just put it back. Try as I may, I can NOT get History to regroup with the group that has Levels.

Another thing I thought I could do was put the History into the Pallet well. My PS does NOT show a pallet well.

I just wondering if anyone else had run into these issues and how to correct them.

Thanks in advance

Jerry, I think you mean "Layers" when you say "Levels" – there is a Layers palette, but no Levels palette. I have no problem in CS2 dragging the History palette (grab on the tab) back into the same group as the Layers palette. Or maybe you are indeed trying to put the History palette into a Levels control window — not going to happen.

Also I have no trouble dragging the History palette back to the palette well. If that fails, the History pallette has a dropdown menu (small black triangle to the right of the tab at the top of the window) and the first entry in the dropdown is "Dock to Palette Well".

You are correct it was Layers which originally had Layers, Channels, History, Paths and Actions as a group and now History is all by it self with the others as a group. For what every reason History will NOT drag back into that group
