Can’t delete

I’ve been editing various photos in CS2. Most, but not all of them started life as a raw and were then converted either to JPEG or TIFF.

Every once in awhile, I can’t delete them. I get a message saying the program is open that is trying to modify it. Even closing PS CS@ or Elements
3.0 and rebooting doesn’t help.

I’ve tried rebooting in "safe" mode and can’t delete the file.

Any ideas? To the best of my knowledge, I have the latest versions of both product with updates installed.

TIA

Usually you can open a DOS window that will allow you to delete such files. Try Start-Programs-Accessories-Command Prompt.

Thanks for the above site and the tips. That should do what I want it to. I’ve downloaded and will let you know if I still have issues.
