I upgraded a while ago from Photoshop 7.0 to CS. I rarely use PS, I am Jasc user at heart but I am finding CS has many good features I wanted to take advantage of. I started experimenting yesterday and find some problems in saving and maintaining the color spectrum of the finished product. It seems PS CS is not wysiwyg.
Example:
Banner2 is a representation of what I see and what I "want" in PS CS. Banner3 is the "save for web" finished jpg. Since I can’t attach files through google you can’t see what I see but take my word for it, they look nothing like each other. It seems the only way I can get what I want from PS CS is to use Alt+PrintScreen and crop the finished product in PSP.
Is this normal? How can I save exactly what I see on the screen in PS CS as a jpg without the colors going bonkers.
