Hi,

Is there a way to save the history of actions? When I get out of photoshop and open up my file, all the history is lost. This is really tough when I’ve figured out some interesting filters and forgot the order and/or settings that give the desired effect.

Can this be done?? Thanks!

Jay

I’m not sure if this exists in earlier versions, I’m on CS2. Anyway it’s the History Log. In the preferences file (on PC) Choose Edit > Prefs > General > Click History Log to toggle it on. In History Log option tab check Both (metadata and log). For teh Edit Log tab check Detailed. Then every step you take in PS CS2 will be recorded and can be printed out later. I use this to document my work done for clients.
