Images too light when viewed outside of PS

All of my pictures that I work on come out too light when viewed outside of PhotoshopCS. Like the gamma is too high or the brightness turned up too much. I had this problem once with PS7 but cannot remember what I did to fix it or if the same fix would work with PScs. Please help me out.

Are you viewing pics on the same computer or a different computer? Is it LCD or CRT?
