I am curious, while I have some decent books for PS CS, I am curious if there are some good interactive courses on the internet I can take? I have done a google search and found some things. A lot of which is just plain reading with no supplemental exercises or anything of the such. So I thought I would see if any of you could recommend some good places to look up for some advanced items. I know the basics of PS and where everything is for the most part, just want to get into using the program for more things. I do a lot of web stuff and a lot of photography. Of course if it is free, that is a good thing, but I would be willing to pay a little bit of money if it is a good cause. Again, maybe something interactive then just something that is a bunch of reading like a book. Thanks much and hope to hear from some of you!

well, books may still an option: have a look at
Katrin Eismann: Restauration & Retouching
and
Katrin Eismann: Masking & Compositing

(there is a third book by her which I dont know personally, so I cannot comment on)

The Eismann books are very task oriented, they guide you through their examples and you can download many of the books’ images from the accompanying Web sites, so you can actually perform all task steps on your PC/Mac as well – contrary to many books in the market which concentrate more on the individual functions. Even if you may not be interested in compositing, the other three topics mentioned in the books’ titles will be fundamental to the your image processing.

they’re not free, but IMHO well worth the money
