Cannot install Photoshop 6.01 on Tablet PC XP 2005

When trying to install Photoshop 6.0.1 on my Avaratec C3500 Series Tablet PC with Tablet PC version 2002 SP2 the installer doesn’t launch. I get the menu where I click install and nothing happens. Other CD’s & DVDs work fine. I can install Photoshop on my old desktop with XP Pro SP2 just fine. What can I try to get it installed?

The CD’s Autoplay is probably made with IE5, and so is not compatible with Tablet PC 2002.
Browse the CD with Windows Explorer. There will be a Setup.exe at the root of the CD:
\Setup.exe
or inside a folder called Photoshop:
Photoshop\Setup.exe
Double click on the Setup.exe to run it.
