In "Bridge" there is a thing called "Bridge Center" which I cannot load because I have Photoshop CS2 instead of the Full Creative Suite.

I assume the CS2 means Creative Suite rather than Can’t Stand 2 much more.

Now I thought Creative Suite would be THE Creative Suite, but it looks like there is an even greater Creative Suite called the FULL Creative Suite which I don’t have and that is why I can’t load "Bridge Center" even though I have "Bridge".

Why would they give me a "Bridge" without the "Center" Why are there other CS2s?

What is even more amazing is that I figured this much out. How did they so far with so little upstairs?

You Are right that you only get Bridge Center if you get the entire Adobe Creative Suite 2.

Adobe Creative Suite 2 Is A collection of Adobe Applications, these are Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Acrobat Professional (Used to create PDF, Not just To Read It), and Adobe GoLive (In The CS2 Premium Edition Only). All These Applications Have Adobe Bridge, Adobe Stock Photos And Adobe Version Cue Included.

The Reason that Adobe Bridge Center Is only available if you have the full Suite, is because it is the part of Bridge that ties all these applications together, i.e. if you are working on a multi application project, you can manage, merge and open your different files through Bridge Center, that is especially useful if you are creating graphics with illustrator and editing Photographs in Photoshop to use on a web site you are creating with GoLive as well as a brochure for print in Adobe InDesign that you want to convert it to PDF for multi-platform use.

So if you don’t have all the applications, Bridge Center is not of much use, but the rest of Bridge can be useful if you only have one of the applications.

One point to mention though, a lot of people including myself have had a single application that is part of the suite installed (either as a Trial or full version), even if it was un-installed before installing the Full CS2 as per Adobe instructions. Nothing we can do will make Bridge Center work and even Adobe Tech Support don’t have not a clue to why it is happening. So all you are missing out on is a lot of stress and wasted time, that I am sure you could do without.

I hope this will make you understand Bridge better than Adobe tell you.
