I’m using Photoshop and Illustrator to do grapics for a CD. I’ve been trying to put the copyright information along the outer edge of the disc the way it’s normally located. I’ve been able to type text along a curved path I created but I haven’t been able to figure out how to get the text on the inside of the path instead of the outside. That is, if you were looking at the disc the text should be rightside up along the lower edge. I have the opposite….rightside up along the upper edge. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Maybe you could explain this a little better, or pass on a link to a site that does. I’m not really following how this would give me what I want. Right now I create a circular path just inside the outer edge of the disc. The text follows the outer edge of the path, with the tops of the letters along the edge of the disc. I want the opposite, bottoms of the letters along the edge of the disc. I may not be explaining it well but if you look at the copyright info on a CD you’ll see what I mean.

Not the place to say this I am sure- but Corel Draw has no equal for fitting Text to Path there are infinite options, (beg borrow or buy a copy). I have used Corel 4, 7 and my current version 10 all work great for this purpose. My use has been mainly for text on garments.

Click below for a rough example the path lines of course are deleted when in use.
