Running CS, experimenting with the posterize command and under the help section it states:
"If you want a specific number of colors in your image, convert the image to grayscale and specify the number of levels you want. Then convert the image back to the previous color mode, and replace the various gray tones with the colors you want."
When I convert to grayscale I get a message saying Discard color information OK or cancel. It will not convert to grayscale unless you pick OK. There does not seem to be a way to get around that prompt when converting to grayscale. Im converting it back by toggling on RGB color and all I get when I try to get color is shades of gray. Am I converting it back correctly? Any help appreciated!
