Hi there,

Since installing CS2 I’ve been putting up with an issue which has been driving me up the wall.

I work with a second external monitor on the left side of my laptop which is used for the main document window as it is much larger and has better colors. My palettes reside on my laptop monitor.

With CS2, it’s as if perhaps the bottom 200px or so of my application window is ignored when performing View>Fit on Screen or (more annoyingly) when zooming using Ctrl-Alt-+. I’m left with a big grey gap at the bottom of my screen and I inevitably have to resize the window to fill this space. Which lasts until I try to zoom again.

Anyone else noticed this behavior?

Cheers

Luke

Yes. I’d be willing to bet that you have a palette open at the bottom on the right hand side, and that your image stops at the top of that palette. That’s what happened to me when I first installed CS2, and someone else said that it was a bug.

See This snapshot <http://img399.imageshack.us/img399/9523/pscs222az.jpg> and see if that’s what’s happening to you. Notice I have the Paths palette hidden underneath, and that’s where the image stops.

Removing that palette cleared the problem up.

Right you are! My Paragraph palette. I docked it to the bottom of the palette above and problem solved. Who would’ve thought.

Thanks very much… you rock!
