I have been experiencing a problem when printing images I’ve worked with in photoshop. they are typically lighter in shade and slightly more yellowish when printed. I followed a topic thread and used adobe gamma loader to adjust my monitor settings. As a result my images look a bit closer on my monitor to how they look in print, but, there doesn’t seem to be any true white on my screen anymore. the whitepoint on my monitor has changed to a kind’ve sickly slightly yellow tint, is this normal? it doesn’t seem right to be always second guessing the color of your images because you have no true white to compare it to.

That means that your display profile is wrong.

Go into the Adobe Gamma control panel and recalibrate.

And you can’t use Adobe Gamma Loader – it’s just a startup time routine.
