Using Photoshop CS 1 on Windows 2000, with raw update 2.4

When I attempt to import RAW images from my Canon EOS 5D and 10D cameras I get an error message that states "Could not complete the import command because of a problem with the aquisition module interface."

Since purchasing the Photoshop CS 1 software I have not been able to import RAW images. The RAW window does not open that is used to modify the images in RAW, and I cannot bring up the RAW window when bringing RAW images in from the file browser.

Anyone have a solution to this problem? So far Adobe tech support has not been able to solve it.

Check in the Camera Raw Forums, but I have a feeling you need ACR 3 or 3.1 for the 5D and 10D cameras. CS (1) is not the current version of Photoshop, therefore there won’t be any more updates.

You’ll probably need to upgrade to CS2. In the meantime you could convert your files to DNG using Adobe’s free DNG converter.
