Does anyone know how to arrange the Photoshop Filters in alogical or alphabetical order? I use PS 5.5, updated a 5.0 version and all of the Filters are disordered, so you have to search the ones you seldom use and learn the others by heart…

Thanx for answering!

I know what you mean. I’ve added every set of free filters I could find, which is a couple hundred or so, and I use less than a
dozen of them on a regular basis. I’d love to be able to access this menu alphabetically with keyboard shortcuts* or something, but
I’m afraid Photoshop doesn’t allow that kind of customizability.

*Keyboard shortcuts are great. They represent for me probably the single biggest advantage of PC over Mac. Adjust Contrast?
Alt-IAC. Flatten Layers? Alt-LF. Crop Image? Alt-IP. I use these and other similar shortcuts constantly. Every time I’m on a
Mac I feel so handicapped having to use the mouse to go up to the menus…

Hewwo. All you need to do is rename the category name.

Ah I see, easier said than done.

But no, Quemo Sabe, get Plugin Commander Lite at www.thepluginsite.com, go into Plugin View, right click on the filter name, Rename.

Voila.

You can also disable little used plugins using the same utility.
