I don’t think this will be easy

Maybe Illustrator will be better?

I did a real quick mask and applie one of my favorite styles. With a little tweaking, you should be able to do this in a heartbeat.

Get This style < http://share.studio.adobe.com/axAssetDetailSubmit.asp?aID=65 38&back=http%3A%2F%2Fshare%2Estudio%2Eadobe%2Ecom%2FaxQu ickSearchSubmit%2Easp%3Ftxt%3Dislam%26allprods%3D0%26submit1 %2Ex%3D0%26submit1%2Ey%3D0>. Load the image into PS. Create a new layer for the rims, load your selection and fill with white or any color. Then paste the style onto this new layer. Tweak color and opacity to suit you.

It produced pretty decent results and is damn quick.

Deebs,

He wants the rims of the wheels to be gold on the ferari like they are on the beemer.

Yeh – I wanted to show how Illie may do a better job

It’s almost a cadcam thing to do properly of course, a blanket color change may do the trick too…

Not if you use the style I linked. Easy peasy lemon squeezy. The PITA is selecting the rim – which I presume the OP has already done.
