I am using an Epson Stylus Photo 1280 printer with an Easy Flow ink system. My software is Adobe photoshop CS2 and windows 2000.

My problem is that everytime I attempt tp print a photo, using adobe photoshop, the photo does not print with all the colors as displayed on my monitor. I get nothing but BLUE and some white where the picture is dark.

Then you need to convert to the correct profile when printing, and make sure the printer driver isn’t doing any color conversions.

Also in addition to what Chris has said….

The paper you are using matters! My experience is with both Epson and Kodak papers….

Lemme tell ya somthin about Epson printers! They like Epson paper. Use Epson paper and the correct color profile and everything is happy.

I ran out of Espon paper, and my sister had given me several packs of Kodak Utlima Satin Finish Photo Paper.

You have NO IDEA how much paper and ink I’ve wasted trying to get my Epson to print on Kodak paper.

For one thing..like Chris said check your color profiles, but also check any directions the paper comes with.

Now following the directions Kodak set for printing on my Epson did help, but the results were not totally satisfactory.

I do what I need to do to my photos in Photosho, and finally started printing directly from Kodak’s own ‘Easy Share’software and have now gotten excellent results.

{This comes on the CD’s you get when you get film processed, but I think it’s also free from Kodak’s site.)

Interesting Tina. So you use Easy Share only to print from?

I, unlike you, use Kodak paper. I have gotten excellent results, so I’m wondering what it would be about printing from Easy Share that would make a difference.

I get nothing but BLUE and some white where the picture is dark.

I trust you have used the Printer’s built in "Print a test page" facility to check all the ink nozzels are working?
