Hi,

I am currently working on my own website, and I want to create a logo to head each individual webpage. I want to create a rectangular logo comprised of 4 seperate images (which I already have). I would like them all to appear the same size (event though they currently are not), and for all 4 to appear next to each other in a block with the website logo written over the top of them.

If anyone can suggest the easiest way to accomplish this, I would be very grateful. My version of Photoshop is 8.

Thanks.

Ok first you will have to know what size you want it. Then go to "Image" then "Image Size" or just hit Alt-Ctrl-I and chage size to how you want it. Just repeat that for all 4 of the images. (I have photoshop CS2 so it might be different for you, but the consept is the same)

Thanks for the reply, but how do I get them to all sit in a block (so each image is touching, but not overlapping the one next to it). Although they are currently four images, I want them to sit in a row as one image (after all it is a logo). Then I would like the website logo to be written over the top of them. Any ideas?

Thanks.

Try linking the layers.
I know it works vertically, not sure about horizontally.

Umm i know in CS2 you can selet all the layers then right click and select "Flatten Image" and that would make them all one layer.

Thanks once more (I am slowly getting closer and closer!), but how do I get them to stand side by side in a line. For example if I were to do this in Dreamweaver I would create a table of 4 columns and one row, and then make the border thickness of each cell ‘o’ to give the appearance of one continuing image. How is this done in photoshop?

Sorry, forgot to add that once I had created the table (in Dreamweaver) I would then insert the graphics files into each of the four cells, and then make then make the cell border thickness ‘0’. Thanks.

Just use the move tool and place them where you want them

OK, thank-you, but how do I import them into the new file in the first place?

DRAG THEM FROM THE LAYER PALLETT!
