I am asking this question in an attempt to help a pig-headed friend who refuses to seek help on his own. Any help is very much appreciated.

After scanning in a picture and adjusting everything in Photoshop, the printed copy’s colors are off. They are the correct colors (red appears red, etc.), but the shade is just slightly wrong. How can he adjust for this problem?

Thanks again.

Colour management will go along way towards solving this problem

Note that some of the colours of your original may be out of gammut fr your capture or output device, in which case there is not a lot you can do

Do you have an Epson printer?

The printer in question is an HP.

Thanks for the suggestion, Cyber.
