I’ve shot 15 shots in a sequence to be made into a gif. Is there a way to open all 15 shots into one psd, without having to open and drag each photo indivisually?

After making the gif animation in Image Ready, I export and the speed is NOT the same as in the regular animation? The majority of the frames are the correct speed, but a few in the middle do NOT adhere to the speed that was set.
Example: pic 1 .1sec, pic 2 .01sec, pic 3 .01

When exporting pic2, pic3…will have a duration of .05sec or something?

Thanks in advance…
Kynan

Hi Kynan,

In Photoshop you can add each of the 15 as new layers by dragging them all into one file.

As for the animated gif part of the question, you might be better off asking in the Image Ready Forum

Best of luck with it.

I know I can drag each on in. Is there a way to bypass that process, like a batch open into one psd?

We’re talking 15 shots here – not 1500!

In the time it’s taken you to log on and post here twice you could have done it by dragging!

There’s the answer I already knew. Plus not every gif will contain 15 shots, it may be 25 next time. It’s a question of "is it possible". That’s all. Do you know?

Someone may pop up with an idea. It looks like a candidate for scripting.

Provided they are named as a sequence and all in one folder, you can open as a sequence in Image Ready

Good point Len. And if they are not sequentially named, I guess you can do a batch rename.

Thanks Len! Yes, in Image Ready. File>Import>Folder as Frames Works perfect.
