good day all,

I’m sure this is simple, but I cannot figure it out. I have a jpg that i want to draw a rect. marque around to had a feather effect, but when I select the marque tool it only shows a square and won’t let me modify it or draw. It just shows up as a square.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Brook

Have you got the style set to "Normal"? Sounds to me like you have it set to "Fixed Aspect Ratio".

Usually you have to hold down the Shift key to restrain the marquee to a square. If the style box is Set to normal, I should try trashing your Preferences file (see the FAQs) in case it has become corrupt.

Hope this helps.

Chris.
