Eliminating Extraneous Profiles

Lynn, did I understand you to say you cannot locate profiles in the printer profile drop down menu in PS? I cannot locate a new profile that is shown in my profile folder, and profiles are listed that are not in my profile folder.

I am pretty frustrated with the color problem and not finding profiles or ghosts of profiles.

Tim,

Profiles have internal names (which is what you see listed in Photoshop) that do not neccessarilly match the name of the .icc file

For example a profile may be listed as "My favourite Printer" in PS, but the file will be something like "fvrtprntr.icc"
