I just installed PS 7.0.1 on my computer and made a test print of a photo that I had corrected in PS 6 and printed many times. The colors on my Epson 2000p were off when I printed the picture using PS 7. I still have PS 6 and went back and printed the very same picture, and it came out right. The color preferences look right in PS 7. I am not using Adobe Gamma because I use a Color Monitor Spyder for screen management as I did with PS 6. Any suggestions?

First, make sure you are using File|Print with Preview. Then make sure that your Destination Space is the same as it was in v6.

If the destination space is the same under File|Print with Preview, then the only thing I can think of is that you might be in a different working space and have your color management policies set to not warn you, just convert whatever comes in to the existing space.

To check that: Edit|Color Settings. Check your work space make sure it’s the same as it was in v6; check your policies. What does it say to do on mismatches/missing profiles?

That’s about all I can think of…
