Serial Number for Upgrade

Hi,
I have a legal (installed) CD of photoshop CS and a legal CS2 upgrade CD. The CS2 Upgrade is asking for my serial number. I cannot find my the CS (cd) case with the serial number. I have it…and will eventually find it…but until then… is there any way to install the upgrade without it? Most other software seems to get the serail number from the installed software…. why cant I do that with my CS2 upgrade?

You should be able to get the S/N from Adobe if you have registered CS with them.

You need the serial number of CS2, not the old one from CS. You haven’t lost that aswell, did you? Rob

AFAIK, there are no prizes and there is no "Idiotic" but I’ll be sure to add a link to this in the appropriate "Stupid" thread.

To avoid any future thrashing, direct all your stupid questions to Google beforehand. 🙂
