Well I down loaded the trial of adobe photoshop/image ready 7.0 , then he trial expired. then I found out that my dad had the full version of it. So then I installed it but when I wanted to run it it would say your trial of Adobe photshop 7.0 has expired and to purchase it.

Why wont it let me use the full version of it???

If it’s your father’s copy and he’s got it installed you’re violating the EULA by using his copy. It’s actions such as this that have caused Adobe to institute activation for current versions of all their software.

Fine then…make sure you uninstall the demo before installing the retail product.

Did you uninstall it through Add/Remove Programs (in the control panel) or did you just delete it?

If the latter, you’ll likely need to reinstall the demo, then uninstall it properly, before installing the full version.

Once you’ve got it installed you’ll need to go to the downloads section of the Adobe site to get the 7.0.1 crucial update.

And don’t forget to register so you will be eligible for upgrades to the latest version at some time in the future.

Sounds strange to me. I thought Version 7.0 ceased to be available as a trial download a couple of years ago.

Is your father’s copy the full version or the upgrade?
