I run Photoshop V.8 (CS) on Windows XP

I have a CD with a bunch of images which were originally scanned into a Mac version of Photoshop.

The file properties window says they are "Photoshop, V.7 or earlier" but no other info.

How can I convert, or translate these into files which my version of Photoshop can open?

Thanks very much!

Kevin

No conversion necessary; Photoshop files are platform agnostic.

Just make sure they have the 3-letter extension on the file name.

Now, you say "Scanned into a Mac version of Photoshop." Do you know what kind of file was produced on the Mac or from the scanner? A TIFF? A JPEG? What?

Oh ho, Dear Phosphor! I experimented with adding file extensions and found they are TIFF’s.

I nearly dropped $70 on a Mac-PC file translation program!

May you and your children be blessed forever.

Why didn’t I think of that? Good grief I’m slow sometimes. Thanks
