Is there a way to print the color variations dialogue box from photoshop ? WOuld be nice to get a 12 or 16 "frame" index print that shows what you’d get as a final print.

the thumbnail previews for the variations dialogue box are not full resolution so a print-screen does not good.

Make my own what ? index print of all the color variations ? I’m looking for a streamlined way to do this…not spend an hour making an index print of the color variations for each image.

By "make your own" I think Chris was suggesting that if this is something you would like to do often it might be useful to create an action that (a) replicated the image (or selected portion) in a grid, (b) constructed masks for each section of the grid, (c) applied appropriate predefined adjustments to each section of the grid, and (d) (optionally) added text labels to the various parts of the grid.

Or he may have been suggesting that you do this as a one-off thing, which would be a huge amount of work that would not be repeatable. I doubt he was suggesting that, unless the image was worth the effort.
