I have Photoshop 7 and I installed the Digital camera raw file support version 3.2 (the newest).

When I go to open a pic like I normally do in photoshop, I find a list of .nef files, I click on one, click select, and I get an error saying: "Unable to use the Camera Raw plug-in. It is not compatible with this version of Photoshop"

But then when I searched on the Adobe website searching "Photoshop 7 raw" the first topic that comes up is "RAW Files Are Difficult to Select in the Photoshop 7.x Open Dialog Box in Mac OS X v. 10.2.x"
So I guess I should be able to open my raw pics in Photoshop 7, and it’s just not working.

Thanks for the help.

You really should read the information that came with the ACR plugin, and the information on the web pages where you downloaded it.

The error message is correct – ACR 3.x is NOT compatible with Photoshop 7. The only version that was compatible with Photoshop 7 was ACR 1.0 (long since discontinued).
