Raw Shooter Premium 1.0 just came out a couple of days ago and it is fabulous once you get used to the GUI. Anyway, I would like to know if there is a way to have Bridge bring it up when clicking on a RAW file instead of the RAW plugin from Abobe. I changed the file association for .CR2 (Canon) files to RSP but the Adobe plugin still comes up when trying to access the RAWS from Bridge. Does anyone know of a registry setting I can manually change to accomplish this? Thanks in advance.

The solution is to configure Raw Shooter to automatically send your masterpiece to Photoshop once you have tweaked it. As you know Raw Shooter has its own strip of images that initially runs across the top of the workspace that shows thumbnails of RAW images only and is resizeable. I have already seen Raw Shooter Professional and I must be missing something. RSP is a good tool but I do not see how it is any better or more functional than the Raw Converter in CS2. RSP has a "vibrancy" slider that is cool but the same effect is easily achieved with more control in CS2. Personally I find the chromatic aberration and vignetting correction in the CS2 raw converter more useful.
RSP does allow comparisons of different tweaks to an image prior to applying the tweak, which is useful.
However for reasons I do not understand when I compare images side by side in CS2 and RSP the image pane in RSP is much darker than what I see in the equivalent view in CS2.

Never mind…I figured it out. I renamed the PS RAW plugin so Bridge couldn’t locate it and Raw Shooter comes up since the RAW files have been associated with it now.

Good call Zach. And thanks for posting the solution for the benefit of others who might search for an answer to this same problem.

I would really like to find out a more generalized answer to the same problem. I really want to be able to add to/remove from the Open With.. list in Bridge. I would assume that this involves the registry, but I have been uable to locate any reference that would make that work.

Have you investigated "File Type Associations" in Bridge preferences?

Yes. This only allows the association of one program with each file type. Further, it won’t let one remove some of the stupid Open With.. options such as Internet Explorer 6 assoiciated with .CR2. Trying it, it won’t even work – if you ever wanted it.
What I would like to have with as Open With opens for CR2 are my four raw converters, Thumbs+, and perhaps Windows Raw File extension, not one raw converter and IE6.

This is an OS matter and not a Photoshop problem.
