I’m using Win98Se (128 MB RAM, P2 450 Mhz) and using Photoshop 7.0-

I recently had a problem with some picture editing: After resizing the pic I then try to add text to it but for some reason the text size becomes miniscule to the point where I can’t even see it even if I put it to the maximum size (1296 I believe) it is still very, very small compared to the rest of the picture. Any comments?

Try resetting your Prefs file (as per the FAQs)

Naw, all you have to do is check your image>image size, where I bet you will find the resolution is some very low number. Set it back to 72.

(Chris’s method will work, but at the expense of killing all your other preferences).

Good call Don. I’m well known for using a mallet to crack a walnut!

Having said that, it doesn’t do any harm to give the ole Prefs a trashing every now and again.

I always have a backup copy saved for that very purpose and forget not everybody does the same. <g>
