IM TRYING TO COLOR AN IMAGE,(IM NEW TO PHOTOSHOP MIGHT I ADD) AND I CAN ONLY COLOR IN B,W & GREY, WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?

Well,

Your Caps Lock key is stuck On. Might want to fix that.

And in Photoshop, the Image Mode may be set to greyscale. Try checking that setting and make sure it’s in a color mode such as RGB.

Or possibly you haven’t picked a color; the default selection starts with black and white.

A suggestion too, when you add color. On the Layers palette, create a new layer so that you’re not altering the original, but working in an overlay. It’ll make life easier and give you more options.
