Greetings, I’m having a problem with Filter Gallery in Photoshop CS2, namely that it refuses to apply the filter to the image. Any and all filters that open up the Filter Gallery window to apply their filter do not work. Those filters that open up their own little window work fine.
I believe this to be a permissions problem, since it only happens on a read-only login. The read-only login is 100% needed for the classroom structure we have here, so I’m going to have to get it work within those constraints.

Dell Precision 3.2ghz / WindowsXPPro w Sp2 / Virusscanner 8.0i with Patch 10 / logon to windows domain, user with mandatory profile loaded from the server; profile created on same Dell machine the issues are occurring with.
This only happens with CS2 and Windows XP. CS presents no such issues. Machines which run CS2 on Windows 2000 with similar restrictive profile also do not display this problem.
So what did I mess up on? Any suggestions? thanks much for any help 🙂
