ok here goes nothing.. I don’t know anything about photoshop or working with images at all but I have tried to learn and then given up and then tried again. This is a really stupid request but I got this picture of cheetos see and I want to make it my wallpaper. What I am asking is for someone to take this image and make it look like there are 80,000 cheetos on my desktop or at least give me an idea of how I would go about making this happen. It’s a small image and I want to make it blend when tiled so as to appear as though it is a giant pile of cheetos. that’s all and I am sure the flames will be hilarious anyway so here’s the link to the image….

If it’s a small photo you should be able to just use the windows tile command to get what you want. Then tell windows that you want it to be your desktop.

Bob,

You need to make the image into a "seamless tile" see, http://www.photoshopsupport.com/tutorials/cb/seamless-tiles. html http://graphicssoft.about.com/od/photoshoptutorialstextures/ http://www.myjanee.com/tuts/tilings/tilings.htm

Googling for this effect brings up many others.
