Lighting Effects Filter not working in CS – Mac 10.3.5

I’m getting this message when I try to run the LE filter.

"Could not complete the Lighting Effects command because a requested property value could not be found."

Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

I tried this on a few different RGB images to no avail….
