P7 and NEF files

I have a copy of Photoshop 7 and was wondering whether there was some way for me to open and view NEF (Nikon Raw) or DNG (Adobe) files with it?

Can’t say about DNG. Nikon includes a plugin for PS 7 in the Nikon Capture software. All you do is install Nikon Capture for free evaluation.

I’d love to know whether it is possible to use PS7 to view NEF files (as I believe it is with PSE2/3/4), without going the Nikon Capture route…after all what good is an evaluation program if it stops working after a while?

Adobe used to sell a plug in to allow you to view RAW files in PS7 (no longer) see
