Hello,

Iam trying to make a gallery, and when I try to make a gallery I get the message
some of the files can"t be opened by photoshop.
All the photos are jpeg.
Please help.

Check the gallery against the directory and see if all of the images are accounted for. If so, it’s not really a problem.

Some programs (like Picasa or some others) leave little data-base files in the directory. It is probably finding that. You may not see it, depending on some settings that might make it "invisible" to you.

Also, if you are on your second attempt at building the gallery, you might find some remnants of the first attempt and be hitting a user setting file or something like that.

If you have all of your pictures, I wouldn’t worry about it.

BTW, it wouldn’t hurt to do a full scan of your harddrive and check for viruses, just to be extra safe, but it very, very unlikely.

Spot on. It is a hidden file called Thumbs.db which contains info re the jpg files within the folder, you may be able to open it with something like Access, not tried it, don’t own it. If you delete it it is recreated next time you view the images.
