can’t reinstall photoshop or acrobat cs2

When I try to reinstall cs2 suite, install programs says I already have photoshop cs2, but I have removed all of suite, and gone through the registry and documents and settings to remove all references to adobe and its applications. acrobat also won’t reinstall. there must be some way to clean out the registry or what ever file is being examined to get rid of these references to previous installations.

Hopefully there is someone out there who might know what that is.

I have looked on adobe site and found one reference and followed it, but I still have problem.

I’d rather not reformat hard drive.

When you uninstalled did you save the registration data? Have you exceeded the maximum number of activations (2 at any one time)? What error messages are you seeing when you try to reinstall? Have you tried to install to a different location?
